means "new for the year"
IMPORTANT: Like most RV makers, Lazy Daze sometimes built coaches on the previous year's chassis. Thus an early-1985 Lazy Daze may have been built on a 1984 Chevy chassis (mine was). In addition, chassis manufacturers sometimes made changes during a given model year, and Lazy Daze sometimes tweaked their design during a given model year. Thus, although this guide is as accurate as the information available to me, it can't be taken literally.

Midbath models had the coach body moved back about 2.5 inches to let taller owners run the driver's seat all the way back. The spare had to be moved from under the rear "continental" tire cover to the rearmost passenger side outside storage bin. This change occurred at the end of 1999.
