Steve, what does "

" mean? I

think that we need some way to decifer these "codes".
At least for those of us that aren't "in-the-know." It sure would be easier if folks would just talk in plain words so us olders folk could understand as well as continue to enjoy this great site.
Thanks, Mick

Mick, I, too, wondered what in the world that "code" meant until I tried to post a message here recently. When I "previewed" it the same little

's came up, scattered throughout! Hmmm...what's going on here? Sandy

Mick, Yahoo is apparently having problems, and one area is with it's message editor, as you have now discovered. Those symbols are generated when you hit , and display the code instead of starting a new line. Hopefully they will get it straightened out again soon.

If it is a Yahoo glitch then it could be html or hypertext markup language showing on the screen for some reason. That is what it has looked like to me.

I have been a member of this list for less than 24 hours!

I am, alas and alack, a different Steve, BUT...
I am on three different lists here at Yahoo... and

appears no where else.

I can only surmise that the author of

is writing to us from a very cold place, and his teeth are chattering.

Now, that cold place might be Alaska, or California where I am, (because here we have no electricity or heat due to Government mismanagement as influenced by soft money from private industry.)

Pardon my soap box, but I'm a cold and angry native Californian who is seriously considering taking his LD 26 and gettin' outa here! Steve
