My wife and I are getting ready to purchase our first RV. Everything I read points to a Lazy Daze as the best Class C out there. They must be because I can't find any used ones! We aren't sure we can afford a new one. Are there any good sites for used late model Lazy Daze RVs?

We have a 1986 22' rear lounge LD for sale. I will e-mail you the specs and photos.
Contact me at e-mail address  for the details.

Thanks, JIM C.

Used LDs are hard to find, but are out there.
Since they're made to order by a small company, there are fewer made and thus fewer used ones available.
But all is not lost! Go to www.rvtraderonline.com.
Use the E-mail notify service and put in your requirements. You'll get an e-mail around 6-7 AM the day a new ad appears that meets your criteria.

Be prepared to fly (generally to the So. Cal/AZ/NV area) on a day's notice to look at the rig you're interested in.
That's how we found our 1999 30' rig. I had the e-mail on Friday AM and we were on a plane Saturday AM to Las Vegas, prequalified for our loan, deposit check in hand, ready to buy. One week later, back to LV to close the loan (John Deere Credit - loan officers meet you at the rig) and drive it home.

We started looking around this time last year. We found ours in mid June (I think). We were originally wanting a 26.5' IB, but would look at any 1998 and newer model, wanting the 14050 lb. chassis. Grand total, we came across 4 26.5 or 30' late model rigs for sale in all of last year (ours was the only 30').

P.S. Our seller was temporarily getting out of RV-ing for a year and hated to see his sitting unused. He planned on ordering a new 2001 or 2002 30' model...

Michelle,

I saw my first bluebonnets last week, so the weather is warming up. Any chance we can take a closer look at your LD some time in the next two weeks? Please contact me via my e-mail address listed in the member directory if your offer still stands. Thanks.
