Generator Location March 20, 2001, 07:02:05 am Yahoo Message Number: 2744I've looked and looked but I can't find where the generator is hidden in any of the LD pictures or brochures. The tailpipe doesn't show and there doesn't appear to be any vents on the compartment doors. I know where most MH gensets are located - but can anyone reveal the secret compartment on the LDs???
Generator Location Reply #1 – March 20, 2001, 09:12:05 pm Yahoo Message Number: 2754I only know for sure about three models.In the 26.5' Mid-Bath model, the gen set is in a lower compartment (under the floor) in the forward compartment on the right hand side just ahead of the coach door.In the 26.5' Rear Kitchen, it is in front on the left side. In the 31' model it is also forward on the left side. I believe that in these two models, it is also in the lower compartments (below the floor).Hope this helpsLFG

In the mid bath and the 31' models, the pipe comes out on the left hand side a few feed back from the driver's side door.Given the length and force of the caution about exhaust gases in the LD instruction manual, I cannot imagine that LD has the pipe come out anyplace but on the left hand side of the coach, however.LFG
