23.5' and delivery dates Reply #2 – March 14, 2001, 01:43:53 pm Yahoo Message Number: 2629We changed our minds on the last day and bought a used 22 ft.. 26 MB would have given us 1 ft. between street and house. Choice depends on your reasons. I love the term Baby Daze!!! I know we have limited carrying capacity but we don't come close to the limit with all the toys... bikes, zodiak/3.3hp etc.. We don't feel that we need the dinette since the rear twin/king gives us plenty of room for 6 to eat. Maybe we'll make friends on the road? I've taken my Baby Daze grocery shopping just to give it exercize. The traffic can get nasty in south jersey too. We slept in both beds and they were equally comfortable. Our bathroom is a little smaller but my 6 ft. husband had no problem. We have no regrets about the "small" BD. If you live between NJ and Florida we'd be happy to let you check it out.Karen
23.5' and delivery dates Reply #3 – March 14, 2001, 01:43:59 pm Yahoo Message Number: 2630Hi Wannabe, We wannabe, also, and will soon be plunking down our deposit on a 23.5. I have also noticed that most folks here order the 26.5, and of course I understand why--they are beautiful, and have everything, and then some, in a relatively small RV (compared to the big guys.) Don't forget, though, that quite a few of the members here own the "oldies but goodies" that are 22', and there are some newer 23.5's, as well. Our thoughts on ordering a 23.5 are first, that we want to be able to store it in our driveway, and it will fit just fine. Aside from that, however, we would order a 23.5 anyway because we want to have the ability to camp almost anywhere, yet still have the comfort and space not afforded by a class B. We are a retired couple, with a dog and cat, and former van campers, so the 23.5 seems wildly luxurious and spacious to us. We're not used to driving an RV, so we like that the 23.5 is a little less wide than the 26.5, also. And, the 23.5 has almost all the same features that the bigger guys have, such as appliances, quality workmanship and materials, and design. We plan to travel extensively, and like to spend a lot of time outdoors. However, we also want to have comfort when we are inside, and be able to sleep in our own bed, cook, etc. The 23.5 serves these needs well.Having said all that, I can also foresee that somewhere down the road we too, like many others here may trade up to the 26.5 (most likely to accommodate grandchildren, if that day comes.)As to delivery, I believe that if we had ordered this week we could have expected October delivery, according to the factory.Good luck, Sandy

It seems I read somewhere here that you can't have people sleeping both in the cabover and on the couch because of the couch-bed blocking the aisle. Is this true?Casey
