We're going to camping world next week to add a fantastic fan and would be thrilled to be able to take our bikes on our next trip. They show some that might work but will they hold the bikes securely with no scratching? Has anyone used the ladder rack? Thanks :-)Karen

I have one and use it often. or try a ladder rack. ON my 1975 I have an exposed spare tire so I use a rack made for that. Hope this helps. Bruce

I just measured mine. you might be able to get a machine shop to make an extender plate. 1/4 inch steel with 2 holes in it. hope this helps Bruce

Last weekend I went to CW and bought a really light weight 6-speed fold-up bike. It's really cool. It's so light that I can pick it up with one hand, and I'm a wimp. Fits in the small trunk of my car. This is a real advantage for me, as I live in an apartment and don't have a safe place to keep a bike.Another week and a half and I get to get my FF also, and the baby will get rid of the pink stuff. I am sure there are a number of companies that make receiver hitch bike racks. I have one that goes into the receiver and can carry 1 to 3 bikes, also I can hook up my tow car to it.Ron 2000 30'IB
