A striking similarity June 13, 2003, 07:51:17 pm Yahoo Message Number: 23378For a long time I've been noticing a vague "familiarness" about the LD's paint job but I couldn't put my finger on it.The other day I parked the LD, went into Starbucks and when I returned there was a 1957 Chevy Nomad (the two-door station wagon) parked next to it with a nearly identical shade of blue and a strikingly similar two-tone pattern. Looks like the Newton's may have been inspired by Chevy's greatest year.

You are probably on to something here. When we were paying for all of our shopping at the Mothership, Nancy said that the color schemes were a product of many sources over many years. We were too excited to ask for details, but wished we had.Malcolm
