Mothership Visit April 07, 2008, 10:36:11 pm Yahoo Message Number: 91219Well, we spent the entire day at the factory and did not encounter a single owner, new owner, or wanna-bee - how discouraging! I think someone has a delivery scheduled for tomorrow, so perhaps we'll get meet some newbies! Vince is taking good care of our rig - mostly paint issues. We dropped off our sofa cushion at Butterfields this morning and picked it up this afternoon with some super new high quality foam in it. What a difference! Things should be wrapped up tomorrow and we can resume our "round-the-country" trek.Ted & Liz H '02 FL NE-12 @ Fairplex KOA, Pomona CA-- www.toad.fobria.com See where we are: http://map.datastormusers.com/user1.cfm?user=6079[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Asked the following questions of Todd and received the following answers:Q - Any plans to use the Sprinter chassis? A - No. Not enough weight carrying capacity and Mercedes dealers don't want to work on them.Q - What about the V-10 in the 24 footer?A - Most people pay the upgrade for the V-10.Q - What about the Ford Eco engines?A - We'll know when Ford ships them in the Ford E-chassis.Q - Can one eliminate the TV in the 24 footer? A - Sure, but you won't get a bigger cabinet on that side. You'll just have the TV opening. Q - Could one eliminate the genset and get extra coach batteries instead?A - You can eliminate the genset but we won't reduce the price. On a personal note, after looking at the 24 footer, the 27's and the 31, we decided the 24 is still the rig for us [we've had two different 22 footers over the years and just like that size and layout for the two of us].John & Cheryl 1994 22' TK Chug
