99" Wide Plus Awning February 09, 2001, 07:36:56 am Yahoo Message Number: 1943A while back I posted a question about the legality of the 99" LD width. I guess that it's a non-issue with most members, but in doing further research, it appears that 102" is the width where we can begin to expect questions of legality. Mirrors, clearance lights, and other safety items can legally exceed the 102" width, by up to 5" beyond the body, in some States, for a total of 112". Awnings are, however, excluded. Is the width of the enclosed awning on LD's less than 3"? This may sound like a "nit-picking" question, but I would hate to find myself in a lawsuit over a question of 102" vs 102 1/2"!This is a terrific forum. I'm hoping to be in the LD Owner's club in the not too distant future.George
