Don's offhand "We use Travelsaks and never have to make up a bed" is just the hint we've been looking for.

I can guess what is a Travelsak, and I expect I want them. (Something like a sleeping bag, but with sheets that we can remove and launder, right?)

But where do they come from? Are there sizes to fit tall folks? What about weight selection - do we need different ones for summer, autumn and not-in-California?

We're gonna be spoiled too when our LD gets built in the spring

I opted for a queen size feather bed and queen size down comforter for my overhead sleeping comfort.
A high thread count cover for the feather bed and a nice flannel or knit cotton comforter cover completes the set. During travel, I fold them over once lengthwise and they stow very neatly.

The comforter is nicely oversized and provides lots of wiggle room!
