E-450 cab leaks February 11, 2003, 02:24:45 pm Yahoo Message Number: 18946I wrote to LD to change our delivery date to June, and asked Steve about the cab leak problem (for which Ford has issued a technical service bulletin.) Here's his reply:"Your unit will be built on a 2003 Ford chassis. We are well aware of the water leak problem in the cabs and water check each chassis prior to motorhome construction. We correct any leaks that we find during the water leak process. Unfortunately, we do not recoup the additional labor and water costs from Ford that it takes to perform this testing. This has been an ongoing problem that still effects the 2003 models."I haven't asked any follow-up questions, but Steve says "We correct any leaks that we find..." I wonder if, due to whatever the vehicle ownership arrangement before I take possession, that LD can't have Ford fix any leaks under the warranty? I guess it'll just have to be something we'll be very watchful for...Lee
