To Ikentnev LD 30 ft - weight limit January 18, 2001, 10:17:36 am Yahoo Message Number: 1648I am a member of RVCG and have obtained two of their rating books. Again I ask if you would please clarify the Deal Data sheet info as it does not agree with what Lazy Daze has in their web site specs nor does it agree with what is listed in the RVCG 1999 and 2000 rating books...Please refer to my prior message...#1627.Tom

This sheet would be on the 2001 30IB model. Your's and my 2000 Rating Book could differ from the Deal Data sheet I just received because our books are rating the 2000 30IB. The new RVCG Rating Book for 2001 comes out sometime yet this month RVCG people tell me. Hope this all makes sense to you.

We have already ordered ours and anticipate delivery in April. The Lazy Daze folks seem to be a bit disingenuous in regards to their specs..the web site shows payload of 774 after all tanks are full and 5 persons(150lbs average) are on board while the Laze Daze Motorhome Manual sent to me after my down payment shows 624lbs. Your figure from RVCG would put the figure down to 522lbs(1272-750)as a comparison to LD's calculations. Looks like the case of "shrinking payload". Wonder if anyone else out there has done some actual weight checks to verify.ThanksTom

Maybe there is a different spec as there always would be the driver (one 150 lb. person).Regards.Pat Nowak

Actually if two of you are in it instead of 5 people, you can add 450 lb to your 774 to come up with a 1224 lb payload. Hey, we will be out there on Feb. 7th to look over both 26.5 and 30 ft models. I am sure they will clear things up then for us when we are there. You may want to call Steve Newton at LD to ask about your particular model. Keep me posted as to how you like it when you pick it up.Kent

I have not seen that info at LD itself.....
