Pleated shades
Hi all—the pleated shades in our ‘07 Twin-King need to be replaced.   As the windows are so large in the back of the coach, I think I might have trouble finding replacements.   I would like to replace them with the newer honeycomb type that can easily be lowered and raised instead of the old type that depend on string tension.   Has anyone replaced their old style pleated shades with something more modern?   Can you supply a source?   Thanks for your help!

I recently installed several Bali cellular shades in my home for some additional insulating value over some single pane windows. I like them a lot. They were easy to install and are nice looking.
I need new shades in my RV too. I would definitely replace them with Bali shades. The cordless model works great. Bali provides an option to have two shades on one mounting assembly, which would be really nice for light control, and to have two shades instead of one larger one. Lighter and easier to manage!  Some creativity may be required to install in the RV.

Hi Chartrue2;  I too need a new back shade. The back one gets a lot more use than the side ones, those are still in acceptable shape.
Blinds Chalet  https://www.blindschalet.com/room-darkening-rv-pleated-shades.html  has RV pleated shades.  I want to upgrade to a better insulating cellular type. The type they have has a maximum width of 80", but my current shade is set up for an 84" width.  The site is very confusing for me.  I did determine that I want outside shades. They don't need to be inside the window frames.  I need to take more measurements before I consult an agent there.
They did carry Bali type blinds.  Motorized might be good if they are compatible with 12 vdc. That is available in the overhead compartment.  Button control ok, I don't want another remote to get lost.   RonB

edit. An easier to use site featuring 84" wide blinds:  Get Top Down Bottom Up Cordless Cellular Shades | Fit Guaranteed &‎ Custom
