Bone head inverter mistake of the month September 26, 2024, 10:19:54 pm Reset my Victron inverter back to 29 amps last night after having it hooked up to a residential connection (14 amps) for seven weeks.Didn’t notice anything was amiss because I had shore power last night. But when I disconnected this morning, noticed none of my 110 outlets were working.Breakers? Nope.Power cycled the inverter. NopePulled apart the bed to take a look at the inverter. Lights were on but not the inverter light. Noticed when I power cycled, the inverter light would briefly come on, then turn off. Great, something is wrong with the inverter, but there were no error messages, the unit thought it was just fine.It was just fine. Was my clumsy fingers. When I was increasing the amps the unit would draw (a crazy amount of touch screen taps 1/2 amp at a time) I must have turned the unit to charge only. Going back and changing it to on fixed it right up. Dummy.😝 1 Likes

I didn't realize it was possible to manage the inverters behavior like that. I've had four or five inverters and they were all or nothing, just on or off like the one I have now. By the way, I appreciate the way you take the time to attach photos to your posts. Really enhances the reading experience.jor
