If you’re looking for a replacement for the standard 14†X 14†vents, then something like this would work. Re: Vent Covers Reply #2 – July 17, 2023, 12:25:36 pm Hi Julie, Welcome to the FOLD, Family Of Lazy Daze owners! The covers are industry standard and can be purchased on-line from many vendors. The Fantastic Vent van cover is best obtained through that company. The hardest one to replace is the bathroom sunroof. Used to be that was obtainable from the factory. Todd Miller who used to work for the factory, did have some spare parts left over that he had for sale. The other hard to replace cover for your year is the escape hatch over the cabover bed. The pull down menu under "Community" has a 'search' feature and you can follow those past threads for comments. Many people choose to upgrade the fans and vents. And/or put covers on the roof to protect the vent covers. In 2008 Ventline changed the hinge design. You need vent covers that match the present hinges on your frames. Lazy Daze made sure that the vent frames wouldn't leak and the metal frames are extremely hard to replace. Here is one past reference into that topic: Replacing the fan vent cover The 2000 came standard with a swamp cooler just forward from the fantastic vent fan. Do you still have that? I do have a leak on the emergency hatch over the cab, but I work for a roofing company and one of the guys here says he can redo my roof for me, so I think that will help there. Re: Vent Covers Reply #4 – July 17, 2023, 01:28:48 pm Hi Julie; The escape hatch cover isn't a residential item, and there shouldn't be an issue with the roof in that location. Ultraviolet (sunlight) radiation unlinks the polymer plastics and they turn into the consistency of 'potato chips'! Your Air conditioner rooftop shroud will also need replacing unless it has been already replaced. The same with roof seams and seams around the vents, (and refrigerator vent) pipes, TV antenna, and roof ladder supports. RonB 1 Likes
