A Shady Operation
So it's getting warmish down here in Tucson. The previous owner of our rig always kept it covered with one of those fabric jobs. I decided not to continue that practice due to the fact that I would likely trip and take a dive off the roof when putting it on or taking it off. Anyhow, the LD is parked next to the house in the bright Arizona sun. I have always kept my rigs out in the weather and count on the protection provided by Rejex polymer coating for the paint and Aerospace 303 for the rubber and vinyl. Those two products work great in preventing any dulling to the paint or drying out of the rubber.

Anyhow, now I've upped my game. I'm keeping the awning down and have added a very professional looking SDMB (sun deflecting material barrier) to my sun block toolkit. It's pretty high tech with the left corner held to ground with a 5 ton bottle jack I've had since the 70s and the right with a new (90s) pneumatic bottle jack.
