Replaced Cabinet End
I didn't care for the fabric-vinyl end piece on the cabinet end by the entry door so I replaced it with plywood to match the one I made for a couple of new gauges. Anyhow, if anyone wants to remove that piece be advised that one of the screws attaching that end piece is hidden behind the carpeted aluminum gusset. You have to remove the outer piece of carpet and part of the inner piece to get at that screw.

Joe, that a very nice improvement.  Well done.  That might be on my long range list sometime!

Btw, what kind of wood was behind the original material?

Thin rough plywood. It was two pieces stapled together.
