Power door lock relay
The power door lock on our 2004 E450 LD started operating intermittently.  Online inquiries suggested the problem was more than likely a failing relay.  Online research and even consulting with a Ford dealership has not provided the location of the relay.  Some suggestions were, under the dash above the brake pedal, in the distribution box under the hood, and behind the glove box.  There is no glove box, there is no visible relay above the brake pedal, and after pulling several relays in the distribution box, the locks were still getting power.  I was hoping that there might be an LD owner who was familiar with this and advise me where to find the relay so that
I can replace it.

My 2000 E450 Owners manual, page 131-134, Roadside emergencies section, Fuses and relays, states the following:
Passenger Compartment fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal.
*Either fuse 21 or Circuit breaker 43 will be present for power windows.

Most likely there were changes with different year model. I had this handy so I thought I would share.
Hopefully a 2004 owner can confirm relay location.
