Smoothest ride January 16, 2023, 06:10:07 pm Would anyone be able to rank the different LD models on the ride quality? In other words, which LD model has the smoothest ride, and which model has the worst ride?

The 24' Twin/King's rear couches will not ride as well as a 24' Front Lounge's forward mounted seats, for the same reason.Since all LDs built since 2003 are built on an E450 chassis, all will have similar overall ride quality. The 27' and 31' models should ride a bit smoother than the 24' models due to their longer wheelbase and heavier weight.Larry

In other words, which LD model has the smoothest ride, and which model has the worst ride? If ride comfort is important to you, I suggest almost anything than a Class C based on the E350/450. Our best ride was a Class B Ford e350 van with a raised roof: smooth riding, quiet, so much better than our Class C on the E350 or the Class C on the E450. Or maybe look at the Class C vehicle's on the Sprinter Chassis, because choosing an LD motorhome means you have already thrown ride quality out the window: you have narrowed all your selections to "not very good". Pick the floor plan that matches you and your travel plans the best, stop driving before you are really tired, and enjoy all the good things the LD has that make people want them. 2 Likes
Re: Smoothest ride Reply #4 – January 17, 2023, 12:06:24 am The only video I know of that shows what it’s like riding in the back of a 26.5’ MidBath (rear couches) is this one from Rob Haerr and his band, the Ravelers. Poor video quality and probably not much help but better than nothing, I suppose. Anyone else have any videos?https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=30&v=pyEh5clGg0s&embeds_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lazydazeowners.com%2F&feature=emb_logo&themeRefresh=1 1 Likes
