Stove Top Burner (Yellow Tip Flame) December 08, 2022, 05:36:06 pm Our front burner on the stove top has always had a yellow tip flame. It’s annoying. The other two burners have a lovely solid blue flame. So the front burner flame was too lean. However there’s not an adjustment as everyone knows. So I removed the burner so I could inspect it more closely. There’s a plastic sleeve inside the gas tube and it’s suppose to make the connection snug. Our plastic sleeve was not snug. So I wrapped the sleeve with one wrap of Aluminum Foil Tape which was enough to make a snug fit.We now have a beautiful solid blue flame on that burner. I also wrapped the connections between the burner tube and the tube on the stove on all the burners. Hope this helps somebody. 5 Likes
