Caulking
So I thought I was done with the roof when I remembered that I hadn't removed the caulk wire tie downs for the satellite. Anyhow, I had read several threads on resealing in which the guys used a multi-tool to remove the factory caulk so I went at it with one of those. What a breeze! Took about 30 seconds each. Having done this I have no trepidation at all about removing the old caulk when I reseal the roof in the fall. I'm thinkin' I should be able to get it all of in a few hours.

Anyhow, back to the job at hand. Interestingly enough, it was wet under that caulk (black stuff in photo). Really surprised me.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I may be the culprit on the moisture under the caulking. I had cleaned the area with a spray product before going at it with the multi-tool. No worries!
