With gas prices at historic highs and record inflation, has it changed your travel plans?

No change.

I expect to put on 6000 miles this summer, so the gas prices are adding roughly an extra $1200.    Yes that’s a lot more, but I can’t see any fuel price increase cutting back my plans these next five years.  It’s a matter of perspective, after spending $120,000 on purchasing and outfitting this year, would seem foolish to have my TK sit idle over one hundredth that cost.  Heck, my storage bill this year will still be greater than fuel costs.

To me there is a silver lining to the high gas prices, it will cull the hordes of first time RV owners brought in by the pandemic, as they realize how expensive these things really are.    Should help the secondary market return to normal and fewer RVs out there this summer.
