Freeze your 5200FC
We did it! We got our ‘01 26.5 RK back in November. After reading thousands of posts (Thank you, Thank you!), the first item of business was to reseal the endcaps and windows with 5200FC white. With that done, I’d like to share a story.

I moved into this rental house owned by a tug boat captain about a year and a half ago before I knew I was getting a Lazy Daze.  In the freezer was a tube of goop that I ignored and left there. After we got our LD, I asked the tug boat captain for advice on the 5200FC as he uses gallons of the stuff. He said to promptly put the unused portion in the freezer and it may give a month or two more working time. When I did, I noticed that that tube of goop in the freezer was an opened small tube of 5200FC. I did a test (remember that it is over a year and a half old) and it performed as expected as if it was new! So, people, put that stuff in the freezer and save some dough!
