Kitchen sink project January 15, 2022, 01:30:25 pm Hello,We have a 2006 RK with the original kitchen sink and faucet. The sink is in need of a redo. The factory is not able to assist with replacement parts so I have searched the forums for others who have taken on the task. I plan on replacing the faucet and strainers. I also will attempt to refinish the acrylic sink. To do all this removing the faucets and strainers is necessary. Faucet is still functional and I like it but the boss wants a replacement. I have found a couple of options on this forum for those items. My question is will the strainers present a difficult challenge to remove? As you can see from the pic they are really in need of replacement. On a normal sink they are only held in by the nut on the underside. But, because this is a Lazy Daze it would not surprise me if the factory “glued” them in place. Anybody have some advice on replacing these?ThanksBob

Did you see the comment in that post from Spartin11 about them being taller than the two installed? Did you have a similar finding when doing you sink? Also, I'm assuming the strainers are not "glued" in.Bob

They were changed six years ago and Amazon still shows the same strainer being available. No dimensions are listed, if concerned about them fitting, buy one and see if it fits. Our bathrooms sink’s strainer was glued in, the kitchen sinks were not. I have not changed the shower’s drain yet.Larry
