TST TPMS tire temperature and pressure range May 22, 2021, 08:18:52 pm I had Agilis CrossClimate Michelin tires installed recently.I am setting up the TST TPMS and I did not know the high and low settings to input for warnings for temperature and pressure. When the rv is in storage do I unplug the monitor? In the winter does folks bring those type of devises like the scangauge, TMPS monitor and sensors inside? Kansas winters can be very cold.Learning, thanks, Kimberley
Re: TST TPMS tire temperature and pressure range Reply #1 – May 23, 2021, 06:39:54 am Good Morning Kimberly I just got done setting up my TST TPMS last night and used these videos: https://youtu.be/JPv54k7Tr2k and https://youtu.be/k7ENxA58EtMI set the low 10% less and the high 25% more. Left the high temp parameter at factory default. Not sure what other's experience is but I think for long term and / or winter storage I would pack the kit back up into the box and bring in the house. From what I have read the batteries in the tire sensors do not drain when disconnected as they would when pressurized so hopefully that will preserve some battery life too. I also got Agilis Cross Climates installed recently - I have a little bit more floatiness / drifting side to side in my drive than before so am curious when I get my pressures optimized if that floaty feeling improves (I did get a new steering stabilizer last year and just had new shocks / sway bars installed last month too so there are a lot of variables). Keep us posted on your TST TPMS install and how you like the new sneakers. J 2 Likes
Re: TST TPMS tire temperature and pressure range Reply #2 – May 23, 2021, 10:51:09 am Thanks Joni, I am going to start with 67 PSI in the front and 72 PSI in the rear tires. About a year ago, Klaus had posted: "Tire pressure one more time."Will keep you posted, Kimberley 1 Likes
Re: TST TPMS tire temperature and pressure range Reply #3 – May 24, 2021, 10:59:18 pm Set ours up today. Followed same procedures. Had to run out and buy extensions, but it is a really simple operation to get started.Mar
