Re: Odd fitting Reply #3 – April 29, 2021, 08:50:10 pm Unscrew the large PVC nut and there is a sending unit up inside the pipe. It resembles a tv remote. No buttons but a panel to slide open to insert new AA batteries.One more annual maintenance project. 🤪Kent 1 Likes
Re: Odd fitting Reply #4 – April 29, 2021, 08:56:29 pm The previous owner of my LD had purchased a new temperature station for the motorhome but the new outdoor sensor was slightly larger than original. I temporarily relocated it into the unused sewer hose storage compartment. One of these days I’ll crawl underneath and drill the PVC fitting out a little larger to accommodate the sensor. Since the photo was taken, I’ve installed gasket material around the little door to help resist water intrusion. 1 Likes
