Refrigerator Light Switch
Thought I would share this little thing for those who refer light switch lever no longer pops out when you open the door. After 14 years ours got "gunked up". You can buy a new one for $20 or you can remove the old one, soak it in white vinegar for a minute and it might work like new.

This is an RM2662 and might be like some other models.

With the refer switched off.
Remove the plastic cover. Remove the bulb. [wipe off your fingerprints]  Remove the red power line from the switch, There are tabs on both sides of the switch. Put a short thin flathead between the switch and the side of the refer. Press and that side should release. Press the other tab with your finger and slide the switch out. You can see the tabs in the image.

Put it back together. Note the red power lead goes on the upper terminal.
