SPOT FREE RINSE February 20, 2021, 05:54:15 pm One part of the Wash cycle of the Lazy Daze or any vehicle that takes a lot of effort is the Dry cycle. The following is not a paid endorsement just my personal experience with an amazing device. Iâm sure there are similar systems out there but this is the one my Secret Santa gave me.Micro fiber towels can do a great job of drying. They absorb a lot of water but it takes a dry towel to get tap water removed to prevent spotting. This step of the process has now been eliminated from my Lazy Daze wash cycle now that I have the Aquaticlife deionizer to do the final rinse. Amazon.com: AQUATICLIFE Deionized Spot-Free Car Rinse Unit - Premium Water... What a time saver. Drying was always a PITA for me. Now I just wash & rinse as usual with regular tap water. Then I do a final rinse using the Aquaticlife system to remove the tap water. No drying by hand using towels. Just let the LD dry in the sun. Wow! Even the windows are spot free. Perhaps the WashWax product could be used in conjunction with this. Wouldnât that be sweet?Kent 8 Likes As an Amazon Associate Lazy Daze Owners' Group earns from qualifying purchases.

Re: SPOT FREE RINSE Reply #5 – February 21, 2021, 12:53:34 pm Kent,Good idea.I have been using the CR Spotless system for about five years. We really like it and use it on the Lazy Daze and both boats. The gel lasts about a year of washing and we have really hard water. The meter on the system tells me when the gel is nearing the end of its useful life. The windows on the Lazy Daze are spot free after I rinse the tap water and soap off with the Spotless. Since the company is located about 30 miles from my house, I can drive to their office and swap my old cartridges for new ones for half price. When I bought the system, it was about half of what it costs now.Amazon.com: CR Spotless DIC-20 1 Pack Simplest RV & Car Wash Kit, Spotless...Harold As an Amazon Associate Lazy Daze Owners' Group earns from qualifying purchases.
Re: SPOT FREE RINSE Reply #6 – February 21, 2021, 02:10:51 pm The AquaticLife deionizer system is about the same size as the two stage water filtration system that I’ve been using for the LD fresh water tank. I carry the water filter assembly in the large bay of the rig. The deionizer will stay home in the garage. The deionizer cartridges internal resin changes color over time. When the right filter changes color it should be removed and the left filter takes its place. The life of a cartridge depends on the hardness of your local water supply. https://youtu.be/sj3TN80-xRAThere are two ways to replace exhausted filters. You can either replace the filter with a new one OR you can repack it. Repacking the filter is simple and by far the least expensive method. Amazon prices are $30 in bulk fills a cartridge 7 times. Or $48 for 3 replacement cartridges. I think I’ll go with the bulk method. So far I am very pleased with the system. Micro fiber towels are great but hand drying the LD wears me out.See you all in Morro Bay. Kent
