Banner Photo Requirements December 25, 2020, 11:55:56 pm A member asked me recently what the requirements for a banner photo are. A general list follows. I do say general because I usually do some cropping, sizing, enhancing, etc., depending on the photo.Best to have the scene be in mostly sunlightFull pixel strength for best resolutionScenic setting, i.e., postcard candyAttractive, interesting background - water, mountains, foliage, forests, etc.Cropable horizontally so as to fit banner format and still show a nice background as well as the Lazy DazeShows off a Lazy Daze Please don't be offended if I don't use your photo. Sometimes they just won't work.Chris 1 Likes
Re: Banner Photo Requirements Reply #1 – December 26, 2020, 08:33:06 am Chris,Sometimes when a post here is forwarded to my Google email address that shows up in my Mac Mail folder there is a lot of nonsense additional text that is not in the original posting on this group site. I am showing this in the below text copied from my received email from this group and pasted here. Do you have any idea what causes this? Mike[Pasted from my Mac Mail]: Floors finished. Victor, that looks great. I searched Lowes for "Jamestown Oak" but couldn'tfind that specific color. Do you have a more specific link to it? I reallylike that color. What kind of an [/color]installation company did youuse|?|&lt/span> Chris

BBCode is similar to HTML and provides a way to do text formatting "behind the scene".Art
Re: Banner Photo Requirements Reply #3 – December 26, 2020, 10:41:28 am The other explanation is in gmail there is a default option for html or plain text email. Those characters maybe google formatting for the html option. Google mail and Apple mail have never played well together.glen 1 Likes

Most modern email readers will render properly formatted HTML in the email, but BBCode sequences are likely to be displayed as text.Art 2 Likes
