Added LED spotlights (reading lights) in the lounge

Thought I would show off some new lighting in the lounge. Initially I was going to upgrade the fluorescents with adjustable LED’s but decided to add these spotlight LED’s instead.
Aimable LED Map/Dome Light w/ Switch | Super Bright LEDs

I installed a set over each couch and a set over the rear window. We like the flexibility of having any combination of them on as needed and like the ability to aim them too. They are lower intensity and  color temp is 3000k so it gives the warmer lower light levels we prefer at night. Now we typically just use the fluorescents when I need to find something I’ve dropped on the floor or when Pogo needs a good looking over😁

Hi BJ,

On my 2003 TK the interior floors of the cabinets can be removed fairly easily by using a butter knife to pry them up a section at a time to expose existing wiring to tap into. I first tried using small needle nose pliers to remove one small staple at a time but that seemed pretty silly once I realized prying them out was much faster!

The lights mount flush to the underside using two small screws. An additional small hole does need to be drilled to pass two small wires through for power.
