Using search and not finding much info on the Sportsman 16. I just bought a 1970 and planning a complete restoration / restomod. Looking for anything I can find. There are minimal pics of them out there. Have only seen pics of 4 different ones so far besides mine.

Wow, that's one of the oldest LDs on the forum ever, they didn't make a lot of them, and since an LD will rot away if the roof, windows, front cap, and the end caps are not periodically resealed, 99% of them are gone..
You don't see LDs this old, is it barn find?
If you go to the Factory, they have one of the originals on display, I would imagine it would have a lot of similarities.
There is a guy in the LD Caravan Club who is a collector of old LDs in good condition and an LD historian, you might try looking him up. I think the oldest he owns in a mid to late 70's.
