Owners manual July 28, 2020, 08:38:58 pm Hi there, I am looking for an owners manual for a 1988 lazy daze. We were recently gifted a non-running one that I am trying to get working. I have the G30 manual, but not manual for the RV portion. Does anyone have one? Thank you.
Re: Owners manual Reply #1 – July 29, 2020, 12:42:38 am You won't find much specific in the owners manual to help you get the coach systems working, but lots of help here if we know the floorplan - Twin-King, Front lounge, Rear Lounge, Multi-Plan? A pic or two will allow ID. I assume the chassis is not running, and folks here can help with that with more info...Steve
Re: Owners manual Reply #2 – July 29, 2020, 05:14:42 pm "You won't find much specific in the owners manual to help you get the coach systems working..."I disagree. The LD manuals--even back in the Eighties--had detailed and very helpful information and procedures for all of the coach systems. That's not to say you shouldn't seek answers here, because there are lots of good people in this group who are happy to help. But if you can get hold of a manual for anywhere near your LD's model year, you'll find it a valuable resource.Meanwhile, you may find the Lazy Daze Pocket Guide helpful in determining what floorplan and features you have to work with. Let us know by adding that information to your profile, and we can help! 1 Likes
Re: Owners manual Reply #3 – July 29, 2020, 07:15:15 pm I "MIGHT" have one for a 1990, our Multi-plan that's out in California. I'll look when I am out there, if I do, I'll let you know!
Re: Owners manual Reply #4 – July 30, 2020, 01:35:50 am I have owners manual for a 1984 RL. Not sure if the systems are the same. Send me a message if you feel this will help, and I can send pics of what you need privately(not on the forum board)-Chris
Re: Owners manual Reply #5 – July 30, 2020, 10:16:43 am My 1988 MB has the manual written in 1986 covering the GM G30. Manual says there is an under dash switch associated with the refrigerator operation. My 1988 Ford Chassis doesn't have itMB came on a Ford chassis. All of the RV appliances and power center manuals can be found online. The biggest corundum is the 3 way refrigerators that were installed at the time. There was a 20 minute flame delay connected to the Chassis ignition to "simplify" fueling stops (turns off the refrigerator flames for 20 minutes). Note that low propane pressure causes the 12 volt and propane( maybe 120V) mode to lockout and the power must be cycled to restart the refrigerator. Manual says there is an under dash switch associated with the refrigerator operation. My 1988 Ford Chassis doesn't have it. The chassis radio and cigarette lighter were supposedly connected to the Coach battery at the battery isolation diode block with applicable fuses. the fuses are present, but I have not verified this on my Ford chassis.

Re: Owners manual Reply #7 – October 10, 2020, 11:37:34 pm It's so great to see the 22' love in this thread. I have a 1989 22' RB, but no manual. Happy to share any details you need though.
Re: Owners manual Reply #8 – October 11, 2020, 07:19:40 pm I have (well my daughter has) a 1990 MP on the Chevy chassis with a 454 engine. I took the manual down to Staples for a gentleman in California (from the FB group) and had a copy made. I did have an extra made and could scan if needed.
Re: Owners manual Reply #9 – October 12, 2020, 12:45:47 pm Hi jrwagner89, I have a 1991 22' with a rear lounge. The manual that came with it says 1989 on the cover. If you don't get a closer year, I will be glad to copy it and send to you.-Peggy
