Annual vehicle registration fee?
We figure add $10K on to the initial price of a new 27 MB for tax and license fees.

What would you estimate the annual California registration fee will be?

Here is a pic of our overall purchase price as of Oct 2015 registered here in Los Angeles CA.

Annual registration fee currently hovers around $645.

Note that Kent’s purchase was before California jacked up their registration fees so figure some amount higher.

My 1996 is $85 a year in New Mexico.
My motorcycle is $15 a year, so $100 for both.
Insurance is also cheap in NM, it's hard enough to get some people to get any as it is so they had to make it cheap.
I have liability only and have the minimum which doesn't do much, but I'll take my chances. $200 a year.
So my total vehicle fees are right at $300  year or $25 a month. Hard to find anything less expensive than that.

I just renewed our 2007 TK registration for $366 in Oceanside, CA. We still have our "June Gloom" on.

Yup. much nicer than the Santa Anas. We lived in Leucadia when we moved to San Diego County before it was annexed into Encinitas. Loved the beach there.
