Re: Head lamps Reply #2 – June 06, 2020, 10:39:24 am I don't know about your 1990 G30, but I replaced the sealed beams on my 1976 Toyota Landcruiser to LED headlamps. I just pulled the sealed beams, measured them and bought LED bulbs that fit into the holes. I ended up finding that 7 inch Jeep headlights were a good fit. They weren't perfect, but a tiny bit of fabrication made a secure mount and they were brilliantly bright white looking down the road, compared to the old sealed beams which were about as bright as a candle in a Mason jar full of piss.Perhaps there was a popular Chevy of that year that has a LED headlight replacement that is the same size as your headlight?Harold

Re: Head lamps Reply #6 – June 06, 2020, 02:03:35 pm Many, inexpensive aftermarket LEDs cannot be aimed properly and produce lots of glare. If switching, I suggest sticking with a brand name to ensure a proper leadlight pattern that doesn't blind oncoming vehicles.Rock Auto, for a 1989 Chevy G30, shows LED headlights by Phillips, GE and Wagner, depending on if your LD has two or four headlights.1989 CHEVROLET G30 5.7L 350cid V8 Headlamp Bulb | RockAutoBTW, high-quality LEDs are not cheap, Larry 2 Likes
