Re: N3 Reply #3 – February 08, 2020, 05:39:19 pm When it comes to ranches I covet, The Bar Cross in Cora, Wyoming always comes out ahead.If I had the money and could take the winters (which I don't and can't) that is where I'd be.I lived in Cora in the late 70's early 80's when the Bar Cross was owned by the Barlow family.John Barlow, a son, was a writer for the Greatful Dead. Some summers the band would come up to the ranch for 4th. of July.Hold impromptu concerts and invite the neighbors over for a BBQ.I lived on 40 acres just down the road and was invited, it was always a great time with interesting people around.I was in my early 20's then and found it fascinating.My next door neighbor was Slim Pickens, he lived on a big ranch that used the same access road as mine.Hardly ever there though, so I never got to meet him.
