Its time to sell and I'm looking for advice
I have never had to part with a possession that made me more sad than passing along our Lazy Daze. We find the van conversion I built is getting all the travel, and Laze Daze languishes in the barn.  That, coupled with the fact we are selling and will have to store it on a lot in the open (horror!), means we are selling.

In looking at Chris' spreadsheet, and the ads of similar vintage coaches, I am thinking of setting a price of $12,000. My question: Is that crazy?

Some of you have seen it, a '92 MB, with the great Ford 460 under the doghouse.  We have done so much to resto-mod this, the list goes on and on-
55,800 original miles
Newer Michelin tires
New AC cab and house  (installed at the Mother Ship)
Reconditioned swamp cooler
New control boards in fridge and water heater
New Best Converters 55 amp 3 stage charger/converter
2 Trojan T-145 batteries
New EMS PW30 power protection unit
New Victron 700 battery monitor
New 12V fans in at bunk, lounge
New cabinets in lounge area, other minor cabinet mods
New maple wood floor, indoor/outdoor carpeting
Roof inspected, taped with Eternabond
New LED rear light set, including back-ups
New wheel brake cylinders, shoes, brake fluid
New fuel pump
New Wingard Sensor IV
New windshield washer control
Henderson Line-Up Installed Koni shocks, Safe-T-Steer, front and rear sway bars,
Replace power steering pump.

There was significant leakage and rot in the rear corner caps- I rebuilt the rear end (documented here), and its solid and dry ever since. No solar or generator, reinforced hitch the original owners set up for flat towing. Very minor skin corrosion- a few spots a nickel would cover that have not advanced over the years.  The paint is still in excellent shape, no fade or chalking.

When you do list it, a picture is worth a thousand words. Good luck, Paul!

I think your price is very reasonable considering the condition of rig.      Frank

Thanks all. Photos will be part of the listing, just didn’t get through vetting them all yet. The reason for selling? We travel cross country to visit family and find a van conversion more appropriate for parking in their driveways and getting around NYC.
