Re: Non-member Classified Listings for 2020 Reply #203 – August 11, 2020, 01:23:54 pm Hi Greg; Yes, it's more like 27' long, and sleeping eight? well tiny ones, or sleeping on the floor. I once had a 8' 6" camper with 11 people in it. Standing like sardines. Torrential rain and 40 mph winds outside, at night in the desert. The tent campers, were welcome until the storm passed. Never did find some of the tents! Memorable, but not much of a party. RonB 3 Likes

Re: 2021 Models and Pricing Reply #206 – August 16, 2020, 11:37:08 pm We took delivery of our 2019 mid bath February 15, 2020. I have heard that we got one of the last V10’s. I asked Tood what was up recently and he told me that Ford had stopped production due to COVID19, they were waiting for new chassis to arrive. Given that our chassis arrived May 2019, I would guess that no new Lazy Daze will be delivered till next year. The factory needs the components to keep going. They have had to find new suppliers for windows, molded parts like wheel covers, corners etc.We hope they keep building LD as we are loving ours. Looking forward to more travel club events. 1 Likes

Re: 2021 Models and Pricing Reply #208 – August 18, 2020, 06:59:51 pm We made the $4K deposit on our 2121RB in early January and will take delivery sometime in mid September. We should get the pickup date very soon. We will be taking possession in Ehrenberg, AZ instead of going to the factory. It will be a long westward drive across I-10 from Florida when the time comes. We will be renting a vehicle for that part of the trip. 4 Likes

Re: 2021 Models and Pricing Reply #211 – August 18, 2020, 10:58:22 pm We went on the waiting list in early March 2019 and received our contract the last week in July. In addition to the contract was CA DMV form which listed the chassis production date as 6/20 and the completion date of the “incomplete vehicle “ as 12/ 20. This form I think is to allow LD to bring the chassis in while delaying payment of the taxes. I was surprised to see the 12/20 date. My right hand calculator determined that that was a 5 month build time compared to the 8 to 9 months that earlier people had been given. My relationship with Todd is littered with misunderstandings about time so I thought I would get the true build time from Todd. This is copied and pasted from his answer “ DMV form basically acknowledging the year of the chassis and it’s mfr. date. Our completion date close but not actually the delivery date. We are hoping for Dec. or January if all goes well as it is going now.”Huge out for him if it doesn’t get done on time, but we are planning on a trip to the factory in January. Hopefully the pace is picking up. 1 Likes

Re: 2021 Models and Pricing Reply #214 – August 19, 2020, 10:26:06 pm Thanks ChrisWe will be taking delivery in Las Vegas hopefully in Nov. Plan is to pre pay and put NJ number plate in Las Vegas and take our time to come back home in NJ. I am hoping to make these modification during maiden journey 1) hydraulic leveler 2) two additional batteries 3) in-line EMS 4) dually tire stem 5) two T connection in propane for the heater and outside stove. I also read information about reinforcing hitch by replacing screws or welding, we will wait for toad decision once we know what is involve driving longer vehicle but if I find a way to reinforce hitch I will go for it as well. I have no idea where I will find reputable places ... if I cannot find reputable place for hydraulic leveler earlier in our journey, we will stop by in MI on our way .. Nothing is concrete and we reserve to right to come back home whenever we get tiered but this is the plan as of right now ... Sign in - Google AccountsRegards,

Re: Non-member Classified Listings for 2020 Reply #221 – August 29, 2020, 10:49:53 am WOW Revisiting the classifieds I realize just how lucky I got! When I decided I wanted a Lazy Daze after extensive research on the best class c rvs. I almost gave up finding one I could possibly afford on my "swamp water" budget! However, I knew I got a good deal when I bought Ophelia, my 2005 30' TB, on January 25th 2020.The best part... I didn't have to replace the outside porch light with "RED" one to make money to pay for her! 🤣😜🤭And my 9-month search paid off a mere 45 minutes from home! 15k and a 1997 Mazda Miata in trade and she became mine!Juanita 4 Likes

Re: 2021 Models and Pricing Reply #223 – August 29, 2020, 08:24:00 pm Hello! This is a great forum! We got on the list on March 29 2019.Todd called me last Friday - August 28, asked for address and said he is mailing the paperwork for the order. So in our case the initial wait is 17 months. It's been a long wait and now we are super excited to hear from the Mothership. We are ordering 27MB 4 Likes
Re: 2021 Models and Pricing Reply #224 – August 30, 2020, 12:03:43 am Congratulations on the heads up. The wait isn't over and I wouldn't bet on the given delivery date being 'spot on'. (mine was 'early to mid February 2014' I say it was ready the 87th day of Feb.)You can add a map location in the profile which gives others an idea where you are. It doesn't need to be exact. If you use the Washington Monument living within 50 miles of DC is close enough. I see you registered about the time you got on the waiting list - a belated welcome aboard.joel 1 Likes
