100,000 mile tune-up?
Hi all,

The Lunch Box is about ready for her 100,000 tune-up and, not being a mechanic myself, I am looking for any suggestions as to all that I need to have checked out, replaced, etc.   She is a 2006 23.5' that I bought in 2010 with only 11,000 miles on her and have done regular maintenance every 3,000-4,000 miles since then.  The only major issue that I have ever had to deal with was a fuel pump replacement in 2016.

We have been all over the west since 2010 (chronicled in my blog at thelunchboxjournals.com), driving deserts, mountains, etc., with no problems at all and I want to continue so for the next 100,000 miles!

The spark plugs are changed at 100,00 miles.
If me, the ignition coils would be changed too.
If the hoses and serpentine belt are original, change them. The condition of the water pump and idler’s bearing should checked..
If you are not already periodicity checking the parking brake’s oil capacity, start now. If the parking brake runs dry, repairs can run as high a $8000, since a seized brake can destroy the transmission’s housing.
The rear axle fluid should be changed, along with the coolant.
