Charger Port June 24, 2019, 02:41:54 pm I am cheating a bit. When docked, I use my Silver Bomber scooter to get around. I just replaced the 'ignition switch'. I had to cut the colored wires to remove the old switch. While doing that, I noticed a loose black wire. For the life of me I am not sure where it goes. The only thing I can think of is that it gets soldered back to the charger port (position of black wire), with the two colored wires?

Re: Charger Port Reply #3 – June 26, 2019, 12:28:25 pm Diagrammed schematics with the colors of wires designated would help. Often a quick digital photo of the 'before' condition can detail things (like a loose black wire) before they were disturbed. That cut off green wire bothers me, just sitting there with nothing attached. Could it have been connected (poorly) to that now adrift black wire? RonB edit: It occurs to me now that 'Black', usually a ground in vehicles, might be connected to a 'Green' wire, usually a ground in house wiring. and an interesting youtube video. I knew it was a scooter... RonB 1 Likes
Re: Charger Port Reply #4 – June 26, 2019, 12:51:58 pm I think Mindispower is asking for help with an old electric scooter. Maybe this old youtube video of the Silver Bomber Scooter will offer some clues as to how to repair it or where to find more information:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__d9ij4W86wGood luck,Jim & DebSanta Cruz, California 1 Likes
Re: Charger Port Reply #5 – June 26, 2019, 06:19:23 pm I don't know anything about your scooter, but a little digging on the web turned up the schematic below. I don't know if you have any background with electricity/electronics, but would be interested if this seems to match your scooter.Art 1 Likes
