Re: Meguiar's Reply #1 – April 19, 2019, 06:55:18 pm Joan I haven’t used it on the LD. But I used it on my Corvette. Goes on very easy and comes off easy too. Leaves a beautiful deep shine that lasts a long time. But my car is garaged and doesn’t see any bad weather lol. I put it on with a application sponge and buff it off with microfiber towel. Mothers also make a similar product that works great too.
Re: Meguiar's Reply #3 – April 19, 2019, 09:16:51 pm Joan, haven’t used that particular product but Meguiar’s has been my wax of choice for many year’s. Give it try and let us know what you think!

Re: Meguiar's Reply #5 – April 19, 2019, 10:15:09 pm That would make a good looking toad behind the LD! 👌 2 Likes
Re: Meguiar's Reply #6 – April 19, 2019, 10:33:46 pm Greg you can bet I have thought about it LoL. But it would have to go in a enclosed trailer. It weighs 3100 lbs and the weight of the trailer would bring the weight well over our 4000 lb limit. But it sure would be fun. 1 Likes
Re: Meguiar's Reply #7 – April 20, 2019, 09:41:54 am Joan-I use the Finish-Kare 2180 polymer sealant instead of waxing. The mothership sent me my first bottle when I asked about the product listed in the LD owner's manual.Sealant application is similar to a wax. It seems to last longer between washes. I have used it on the cars, too.Mark H

Re: Meguiar's Reply #9 – April 20, 2019, 12:39:58 pm Even though I am still a proponent of Finish First, I have been tempted to try that Mequiars product. Mostly because it supposedly does not leave white stains on plastic trim. My textured running boards show I have been diligent polishing our rig Joan, be caerful on that ladder! Steve K. 1 Likes

Neither of us could see a difference between the pricey wax and the better waxes from Mother's or Mequiars, when used in real world situations.Enjoy reading.Yahoo! GroupsLarry
Re: Meguiar's Reply #11 – April 20, 2019, 02:43:20 pm I've tried several 'waxes' over the years, including Finish First, Turtle Wax, a couple of Mother's products, even Meguiar's Tech Wax; I know that Meguiar's products are preferred by a lot of 'car nuts', so I thought I'd try the 'Ultimate' version. Thanks to all for the suggestions and recommendations!

Re: Meguiar's Reply #13 – April 20, 2019, 10:26:55 pm Thanks for the vote of confidence in this product, Glen -- I just received my order of Aero wash.... Not sure when I will get to the project -- but some day when I run out of excuses.
