We stayed there once. It was the starting point for a caravan to Cabo. Being one of the few parks in the area, they charged quite a bit. The sites were as small as possible, we could see 8 rigs from our rear window.

Sad but probably a case of the bay front land not being utilized to it's greatest economic potential.  For those that have access to military facilities (Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado), an alternative place to stay is at Fiddler's Cove, just across the bay from Chula Vista.  Probably not quite as nice as the CV Resort but no doubt much more affordable:
