Maxxair II or FanMate: 2017 MB
I read some old posts about installing Maxxair vent covers.  I'm thinking of installing some on my 2017 MB.  Has anyone installed them on newer LDs?  The Maxxair website suggests using their FanMate model for Fantastic Fan vents.  Does it matter?

Glenn, What matters is the FanMate will handle more expelled air volume. I have the FanMate on both Fantastic vents in our 2010 Rear Bath. I have the standard Maxair on the center plain vent. That way they all can be used in the rain. It is also nice that the FanMate can hinge open for cleaning.

"Has anyone installed them [MaxxAir Fans] on newer LDs?"

I still consider my 2004 a 'newer' LD and I have five (5) MaxxAir Vent Fans installed.   ;D   ;)

By the way, she turns 14 years old next month!

I installed three Maxxair's on a 2014 TK.   Love em.   We leave the vents open all, yes, all the time - driving, rain, whatever.   OK sometimes when it gets cold at night we'll close them.
