Floor Plan Name???
What is the proper name for a 26.5 LD that has the bathroom in the middle, and a queen island bed in the back?  Does anyone know what years this floor plan was offered in the 26.5 LD?

It's called the 26.5' island Bed.  LD crammed a 31' model in a 26.5' model.
It's rare model, LD stopped building them in 2004, due to lack of sales.
The lounge area is cramped.

On the home page of the message board, there is a link to a document titled,"Changes by Year"; this is a very good resource for model information changes. According to this doc, the Island Bed's last hurrah was the 2005 model; the floor plan had (and has) its fans!  ;)

I guess the rear island bed went away in favor of the rear fold out king size bed.

I like the kitchen/bath in the middle with the sleeping arrangement above the cab at the front and at the rear because it keeps the noisy sleepers furthest apart from the quiet sleeps.

However, the rear kitchen/bath options are popular.  They push all the obvious sleeping arrangements to the front.  Why are these floor plans so popular?  There must be some advantage to them that I am not seeing.
