Lower 12v receptacle not working
Hi All,
While switching devices in and out of the dash 12v socket, I seemed to have shorted out the lower of the two. This ob my 2005 26' mid-bath. Looking at the ford manual, I found the fuse for the top socket, but the lower one is not mentioned. I cannot track down that dam lower socket fuse location. I believe Lazy Daze adds this lower one. I'll give them a call if no one can help me out here. Checked the cab fusebox, the under hood fusebox and even the power center fusebox. No bad fuses to be found. Is there an inline fuse somewhere, or is this one.

LD installed fuses for the dash are usually under the hood, near the firewall, and are in-line weather-protected blade fuseholders.

From the 2005 Ford E-450 chassis manual, page 169 (link here):

Passenger Compartment Fuse Panel (under the dash, left of the driver's seat)
Fuse #26  20A  Cigar lighter, Diagnostics
Fuse #32  20A  Power point #1 (instrument panel)

Power Distribution Box (under hood)
Fuse #18  60A  Engine compartment fuses 3, 5, 23 and 26, Instrument panel fuses 26 and 32, Start

Agree that if they turn out to be LD fuses, you should find them under the hood, to the right of and behind the Power Distribution Box. On our LD, the inline fuse holders were yellow and made of a rubber-like material.
