Transportation Decision Support
Under the National Weather Service I found this new to me map....

National Weather Service - NWS Portland

Of course this is for the Portland area but it is available for all weather zip codes .

Doesn’t seem to be fully functional, I let it use my location, but there is no forecast east of Nebraska.

The Transportation Resources drop down menu gives a national map that you can get to a state's transportation website by clicking on it.    It only seems to be integrated with the western US so far.  Clicking on Nebraska provided a link to http://www.511.nebraska.gov/ 

That map is a handy resource to get detailed state info.
