A new 26.5 LD coach would be $68,750.00 per their website.

LD's website is out of date on the prices {those are the 2004 prices}. The new base price for a 26.5 LD is, I believe, $71,000+.

Thanks Dave...I hadn't realized they went up that much...still at $71K * even 63% is $44,730...

Let me 3rd it!  Your postings are causing a great deal of 2nd guessing as to why we ordered a MH from the factory instead of getting a used one!  But they are very interesting & Thank You.

I've talked to the seller and, while interested, told her I thought the price was high.  A new 2005 unit similarly equipped is $71,250.
Theirs is now six years old.  They feel it is very clean and with such low miles is worthwhile at that price (which mysteriously got bumped $2k from when I first saw the ad).  I think they'll be lucky to get $42-45k due to the age of the unit.  It is not worth 73% of the price of a new unit (to me anyway) regardless of miles or condition.

Check their photos out though, very good and shows you the unit is very clean.

I agree, it is a clean unit w/ the dark wood that so many of us like.
But I also wondered how it got bumped up $2K when it was put on our board.  I was online when the orig message came thru & went to see the pix.  The site said $50K ATT.  A little bit later wehn I was talking to DH about it.... he went to look @ teh photos & it was $52K.  I guess they feel that they hit a target rich enviornment; so they pumped up the price.  I thinkthey actually found an environment where the inhabitants know what they're looking at.  it is a nice clean unit, but it doesn't seem that the generator could've had it's exercise from what they say.
& it is way overpriced.  I also believe that they came here just to post the unit.  Which is OK.
Someone will get a nice clean coach, then maybe come here & find out they overpaid.  But, they'll still have a nice clean coach.

Barry Barnes' asking price calculator for used LDs estimates that a 1996 coach will be priced at about 42% of the price of a similarly equipped new 2005 model.  In this case, that's about $27,100.  The March 2004 Kelley Blue Book estimated a retail price of $28,000.
