AnyBody in the Bend area out and about?
We are headed to Bend area tomorrow for a week.  We will be staying at Tumalo State Park Fri-Sun and then out and about after.  Any LDOers out there in the Bend area?  We are in a 98 Blue MB stop and say Hello!  AnyBody

Have fun! It would be nice to get out of this wind and rain.

I'm  envious. We stayed in Tumalo two summers ago and really enjoyed the campground, the neighbors, and the surrounding area. Whether motorcycling or bicycling, I could do McKenzie Pass every day without getting bored of it.
Have great time!

We have to be back here in early November otherwise we would keep going.  BTW this will be our first trip with our 10 yr old Calico Cat Sirena, we now will bring her since our other cat "Mitra" who was 20 and could not travel died in July.  We have done a couple nights at the local Airport with her and she was a Ball of Energy All Night!  We will have our car also and will bring our  cat kennel.  She is going in the kennel and into the car after midnight if she does not settle.  We have camped and traveled with our other cats before we had children and  with children with out any issues.  Our cats have been leash trained and have usually lived into their twenties.  Sirena is another story!  We will keep her up all day on the way down there, I think she will be pooped and will settle.
   Wish us Luck!

We, too, started our travels when our cat was 10. Excruciating howls for the first three hours. Intermittent cries for the next three, then settled into her basket in the overhead bunk and was good to go thereafter. You just gotta gut it out for a while. 😜 -- Jon

Well looks like Sirna is a Happy Camper!  She did Great on the drive and was quiet and content for the last couple of nights so far!
