Spare Tire Mural September 27, 2017, 12:03:12 pm I don't know if I ever posted this to the forum, but last winter in Puerto Penasco I decided to get a mural on my spare tire cover. I was at the storage facility yesterday and took a picture for someone who wanted to see what it looked like. Re: Spare Tire Mural Reply #1 – September 27, 2017, 12:23:39 pm That's very attractive, Cheryl. One of the pleasures in life is to be able to personalize our belongings so that we feel an inward smile every time we see it. We had a lovely mural on our big rig. The first owners had had it painted on, but we loved it just as much.I'm attempting to add its portrait to this note.Virtual hugs,Judie 2 Likes
Re: Spare Tire Mural Reply #2 – September 27, 2017, 01:16:19 pm Well, that didn't work. :-( When I click on the icon to add a photo, I get a box in which I am invited to enter a URL. The photo I am trying to attach does not have a URL because it is on my hard drive.Clicking either choice (Cancel or OK) produces nothing. I know I've done this previously with success, so am at a loss to know why there is no dialogue box with some choices that would allow me to add a photo from my desktop.Any clues? Virtual hugs, Judie

Once you find the file on your computer and select it, the picture is inserted into the reply. Hope this helps.
Re: Spare Tire Mural Reply #5 – September 27, 2017, 04:46:34 pm Thanks, Ed. That is exactly what I am doing - and have done in the past, which worked. Today ? I have no idea. Maybe tomorrow.I'll go do something else for a while. Virtual hugs, Judie•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• 1 Likes
Re: Spare Tire Mural Reply #6 – September 29, 2017, 05:20:29 am I like it! Looks good. Our Lazy Daze now, 30ft Ann Ed., came with the Spare Tire Cover with No Writing on it. At first looking at it on the computer we thought it had been in an accident and was repainted. But the Mechanic that did the original checking on it said it came from the factory like that. So the first owner must of ordered the LD with no writing on it- I like it now but have thought about having something painted on it.. Sandra 1 Likes
Re: Spare Tire Mural Reply #7 – September 29, 2017, 10:32:23 am Mural attempt . . .Aha! Dogged perseverance provided the solution to my problem. In case anyone else runs into this problem, here is what I found out . . .The photo I was trying to use was from ten years ago, when digital cameras were in their infancy. Now, I haven't a clue if that has anything to do with the problem, or the solution, but the thumbnail of the photo DID NOT have an appellation. When I added " .jpg " to it, all was well, and it tossed itself into the box on my screen, right where it belongs. So now . . . the acid test . . . will it show up on our Lazy Daze site properly. Here goes . . . Virtual hugs, Judie 5 Likes
