Pre purchase inspections
Any recommendations regarding reputable companies to conduct a PDI? Are NRVIA certified individuals more reliable?  Thanks.

We have had luck twice by searching RV Repair Business' in the City of the Owner. Then searched the reviews and sometime made calls to Car Repair Shops for recommendations. Most reputable RV Repair Business' do Interior and Outside Evaluations and have Check Lists they go through. Sandra

Sassy1, Yes we had the engine and exterior check, brakes, etc. They found it needed house batteries, tires and they found an //Axle leak underneath. It was a lengthy check list and they made many notes. We did the interior check of Water pump, A/C, Furnance, leaks, etc. They charged $200.00. We had them replace batteries, change oil (Syn. Oil-which Owner had used), - then my husband stopped at Discount Tires on the way out of town (which is American Tires in CA. so we get the same free service of air checks, rotating tires, and road hazard) our RV Repair Company recommend Bridgestone instead of Michelin this time because they are wearing longer the last few years.
We did this when we bought a previous LD, and the RV Repair Shop had a check list also. A RV Repair shop having a Check List to evaluate the exterior and/or interior shows they have put some thought and hopefully experience into doing it before. Sandra

Sandra, thank you for the additional information, this is very helpful. This would be our first motorized RV, we owned a tent trailer when the kids were young and loved it.  We are ready for a more comfortable ride now.  Safe travels.
