Yosemite South Entrance Closed
If planning a trip to Yosemite soon, avoid the South Entrance as it is closed due to wildfire. Fire is near Fish Camp.

Sad story. A Forest Service battalion chief (married with three children) based out of Santa Maria was killed returning home from working the fire. Head on collision on Hwy 41 due to a blown tire on a pickup by the person that hit him:

Thoughts and prayers to his family and the woman that hit him. The woman has major injuries.
